Abstract: The information on methodical guide for radiation monitoring of river and sea water that was prepared for publishing is presented. The guide is developed for the decision of tasks, which are assigned by the legislation on the Hydrometeorological Service of Ukraine in the field of water radiation monitoring. The short characteristic of the main parts of the guide concerning the sampling, primary processing and preparation for radionuclide analysis of water, suspended sediments, bottom deposits and hydrobyonts and others is considered.
