Abstract: In the framework of the eikonal approximation and the double folding model, the total cross sections of the Coulomb disintegration and diffraction interactions of hypertritons with medium and heavy nuclei at a projectile energy of 1.5 GeV per nucleon are calculated. The possibilities of obtaining information on the hypertriton's binding energy, structure, and Λd-interaction are analyzed.

Keywords: hypertriton, eiconal approximation, double folding model.
