Beam current variation account in activated experiments with charged particles

Abstract: Formulas, accounting for current instability of charged particle beam at activated experiment data treatment are derived. Cases of single and multiple (cyclic) activation are discussed. The use of the obtained equations under the condition of time dependence recording of beam current, allows to improve accuracy in element and isotope activated analysis with charged particles and in determination of integrated cross sections of nuclear reactions by the activating technique.
