Abstract: Comparative analysis of publications in the world, in Ukraine and in the Institute for Nuclear Research of NAS of Ukraine (INR) in nuclear physics and other directions of INR research was performed. Conclusions about the intensity of research, contrubution of Ukraine in this research and the INR role in it are presented. It is shown that 30% of Ukrainian publications in nuclear physics, and about 8% of them in other fields belong to the INR. Part of Ukrainian authors who publish their works in Ukraine and abroad, as well as the part of foreign authors publishing in Ukraine is shown. Distribution of the INR publications among 16 countries is indicated. Ths mentioned information can be used for profound study of research in Ukraine and INR.
